This circular walk from Llyn Alaw follows central Anglesey's rolling countryside taking in the island’s finest wind and water mills. These were erected in the 18th and 19th centuries and were both lovingly restored in the 1970's and are typical of those seen all over Anglesey in days gone by.
A walk from the car park to Point Lynas, then across fields and around the coast climbing up to a lane then on up to Mynydd Eilian. From here the walk descends to the Old Telegraph, on to Ynys Coch and back to the start.
Join our historian on a sad tale of Branwen married to the king of Ireland Matholwch. An unhappy union which ended for Branwen on the banks of the river Alaw in Llanddeusant. See the cairn with its one remaining standing stone and return to Melin Llynon for some refreshments at your own cost.
