Including descriptions of the last voyages and wrecks of Royal Charter and Hindlea. Commencing with descriptions of the 'Old Red Sandstone' and carboniferous limestone that border Lligwy Bay, the walk then proceeds along the beach to look at the long and short term time cycles evident in the rocks on the south side of the bay. Past and present uses of limestone are described and classic limestone formations are viewed as we progress along Anglesey's Coastal Path towards Moelfre. At the wreck sites of Royal Charter and Hindlea, the circumstances leading to both shipwrecks are described in detail. Return:Walkers can either join the guide for the return walk, or spend time in Moelfre and make their own way back to Lligwy.
