A walk from Trearddur Bay across countryside, skirting Holyhead Town to Holyhead Breakwater Park. A stiffish climb up to Holyhead Mountain then on to South Stack and Ellin’s Tower. A little road walking to the coastal path then a pleasant heathland walk back to Trearddur Bay.

A rare opportunity to walk this local nature reserve with guides from North Wales Wildlife Trust and Menter Môn. You will experience the most secretive of nocturnal species, the Bat via the use of sonar equipment. There will also be an opportunity to see and identify moths that will be used to encourage the bats to appear.
