The rare chough is often seen here, breeding peregrine falcon, and a variety of special wild flowers, birds and butterflies. Starting from Canolfan Thomas Telford, a guided walk over and under Menai Suspension Bridge with detailed explanations of how the bridge was built and its later reconstruction. After passing under the bridge walk along the historic waterfront to Church Island, with commentary on the Belgian Prom, Coed Cyrnol, etc., and return to the Canolfan.

Take a walk through historic landscapes on the Penmon Peninsula. Starting at the ruins of Penmon Augustinian Priory, the site of an earlier monastery and holy well associated with St Seiriol, walking to Penmon Point with its wonderful views of Ynys Seiriol (Puffin Island), then along footpaths through fields adjacent to the former deer park. Pleasant walking along lanes to Caim and on to St Cawrdaf's church, Llangoed, to the village of Penmon, then back through the deer park to the Priory.
